Welcome to My Website
Since you have found my webpage, it is likely that you are looking for an attorney to assist you. When making decisions about estate planning, it is very important that you feel comfortable with your choice of an attorney. This website is designed to give you basic knowledge of some estate planning concepts as well as an idea of how I work.
Planning for the future is one of those things that many people delay doing, month after month, year after year. Thinking about planning for what may happen in the event of an unexpected accident, illness or death is overwhelming for many people. It is very common for people to be uncomfortable with these subjects or to avoid discussing these topics entirely. However, emergencies do arise and life is limited to a particular period of time that will come to a close for all of us. Therefore, I strongly suggest preparing for these circumstances.
I offer a free consultation to discuss your planning needs.
Planning goals are different for every family and are particular to each individual person. Whether we are talking about our needs as we age, discussing care for minor children, making provisions for individuals with a disability or asset protection; it is crucial to have some type of planning discussions with an attorney and be educated on estate planning options.
I strive to treat all clients with respect and make sure they understand legal concepts. I work with both individuals and couples. I listen to each client's individual desires and needs and advise them of their options for planning. We then walk together through the process of preparing for the future, taking into account their wishes and the bounds of current state and federal law.
After we have completed the initial estate planning documents, I keep my clients advised of changes in the law that would affect their plan. I offer a free consultation every three years to discuss planning changes and am available to clients, and their loved ones, if there is a need. The desired result being that we would have a lasting relationship.
